This analytical tool based DNA array technology can provide quantitative identification for more than 150 different fungal and bacterial pathogen species, selected upon relevance for horticultural crops. Every microarray allows 8 determinations. Easy-to-use sampling kit for sample collection by non-specialist technicians is provided. Producers will take the samples themselves. Samples are shipped to a laboratory where pathogens are detected by using DNA microarray technology. Provided online tool to support the end-users (farmers, agronomists at cooperatives, consultants) in making decisions on pest management, establishing not only the sampling collection but also interpretation of the VegAlert data, permitting to the farmers to improve knowledge about phytopathogen prevalence and epidemiology.
Buntata is an Android application that has been designed to help users identify plant pests and diseases with no a-priori knowledge. Buntata provides a visual key for the identification of diseases by displaying example images of symptoms. A user visually selects the part of the plant that is affected and Buntata displays images of recorded symptoms. Picking the image that most closely resembles the symptoms shows detailed information about possible causes, background information, diagnostics and control methods to help deal with the cause. Diseases can exhibit similar symptoms. Buntata displays diseases with similar symptoms together allowing easy comparison to help users identify the correct one.
The VideometerLab Instrument is an instrument for multispectral image acquisition. It is used for reflectance imaging and optionally fluorescence and transmittance imaging. Together with the VideometerLab software, it is used for both exploratory analysis, for calibration model construction and for routine quality control in a wide range of application areas. The Videometer technology provides accuracy, robustness and highly reproducible measurements.
Ecoation is a plant and grower centric platform that merges deep biology, automation, sensing, artificial intelligence, intelligence augmentation, and robotics to change the way we produce and protect our food. At ecoation, we know that farming is one of this world’s most honourable professions. On any given day, new challenges arise and we rely on the people who put food on our tables to rise up and meet them. We also know that growing is ultimately a numbers game, so we work tirelessly to get you the information you need, when you need it, so that you can make the best possible decisions.
Genie® II is a sophisticated instrument that enables the sensitive detection of bacteria and viruses at a molecular level. This powerful and extremely flexible platform allows isothermal amplification of DNA and RNA to take place in a compact device designed to run any isothermal amplification method that employs target detection by fluorescence measurement. In trials the Genie® II proved to be a very easy-to-use, robust, portable instrument; invaluable for use in the field.
agroNET is a cloud-based platform acting as a hub for all farm operations, enabling complete farm asset management (tractors, machinery, irrigation systems, diesel generators, weather stations, insect traps, sensors etc.) and activity management and monitoring, which is the basic building block of digital farming. The platform provides a range of expert data analytics services designed to provide just-in-time guidance and to enable advanced automation of activities and labour savings. agroNET comes with different configurations, tailored to the needs of vineyards, orchards, vegetable production, arable crop and poultry production. It includes environmental monitoring, connection to smart traps and disease prediction.
Agrio is an artificial intelligence-based precision agriculture solution that helps you to remotely monitor, identify, and treat plant diseases and pests in your field, farm, and garden. The app leverages and deploys proprietary artificial intelligence and computer vision algorithms. The algorithms contain the knowledge of numerous agronomists and agriculture experts and continuously improve. Available in a number of languages.
The MyIPM smartphone application was originally developed in 2012 by Clemson University for South Carolina peach and strawberry growers, but has since expanded into a tool that serves all fruit growers along the east coast. It has information to aid identification and control. The App includes diagnostics, chemical, biological, and cultural control tactics, search feature to list active ingredients and trade names for each disease/pest together with efficacy and rate per acre.
This multi-lingual tool will support pest control with less negative environmental and human impact. The APP is targeted for auditors, decision-makers of farms, fields and forests. It provides: 1. Access to toxicity information from government authorities, international agreements and/or academic institutions. 2. The restriction status for major standard systems/labels for more than 700 pesticide active ingredients. 3. All registered pesticides for a crop and pest species for Mexico and India, as well as per crop for Brazil, Colombia and Kenya 4. Non-chemical pest control alternatives from CABI for 2700 pests and diseases. And access to PlantWise from CABI.
This company focuses on control of a wide range of pests and their products include a drone which accurately approaches each target and performs the treatments in a way that drift is greatly reduced. Their drones ae being developed all the time, increasing the capabilities of machine vision and terrain analysis, to adapt to the terrain and improve flights and proximity to the ground. The drone can load up to 10 litres and release the treatment at an average of 1.8l / min. This allows it to carry out effective treatments in a short time.
