xarvio™ SCOUTING is developed for agronomists and farmers to automatically identify problems in their crops. Users can just take a picture and instantly receive a result. SCOUTING supports more than 50 crops globally and helps growers to document in-field stress easily. xarvio SCOUTING supports six different activities from seeding to harvest: Weed Identification, Disease Recognition, Nitrogen Status, Yellow Trap Analysis, Leaf Damage Emergence Analysis.
The current disease recognition algorithm covers more than 400 diseases, pest and nutrient deficiencies on more than 50 crops globally (https://scouting.xarvio.com/static-pages/assets/pdf/DiseaseAccuracy_en.pdf and see pdf below). Diseases can likely spread due to regional climatic conditions. SCOUTING results are shared within the community via the radar function and growers will receive alerts if the diseases are observed nearby.
Instead of manually evaluating yellow trap captures in oilseed rape fields. SCOUTING automatically counts and classifies insects in the trap. The algorithm can identify and count harmful insects. It differentiates between weevils, pollen beetle and the cabbage stem flea beetle. Insects may migrate from one field to another. An active community shares scouting results via the app to provide growers with an overview of the insect pressure in their area.
